Morning eKa Circle,
Most of us have heard the term “mother earth” right? In the masculinity of religious teachings though it clearly seems very forgotten that wisdom is in fact the “mother” that is referred to in spiritual terms (Sophia in greek). In fact the ancient healers that used the titles for healers took the names from the word wise or wisdom (mage, sage, seer, circe) – you can check the etymology for yourself if you like and see how words change in order to influence an eras bias against a belief. Before you jump all over me for this comment please feel into the fact that ALL knowledge has been stolen and manipulated for the sake of greed. Can you sense what is light and what is darkness yet? That is the whole journey of seeking wisdom who is indeed hidden in heavenly realms.
These ancient healers always utilized energy work (Christos light energy) and healing plants and herbs. Plants being gifts from the mother herself that most will agree is a knowledge we really do need to get back to.
Check out wisdoms call in proverbs 8 she herself mentions this!
“Yah brought me forth as the first of his works before the deeds of old. I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world came to be. Where there were no watery depths, I was given birth, when there were no springs overflowing with water.”
I consider Mother wisdom to be the earth’s Higher Self and it gets very exciting when one realises that the springs she speaks of to overflow with water are in fact YOUR mouth! More on that on my eka scrolls insta.
And so back to simple things that make a difference. Mother gave me two HUGE “weeds” – well we have been programmed to think they are weeds. Yes Bayer and Monsanto are in fact in bed together that is fact. The humble dandelion plant is such a healer. I was just about to go up the road and buy some salad greens for my lunch and then I didn’t have to. A mother always intuitively knows what a child needs right? This is another reason we should eat local plants. If only we listen and honour our mother as instructed to.
Here is what I did.
Pick plants early morning before the sun is too high, shake off any excess dirt. Pluck off any leaves that are not looking too fresh, wash them in running water with a little white vinegar. Saute some garlic and chilli in olive oil. Cook the leaves lightly and serve with a squeeze of lemon. The flowers and roots are all edible too. Remember that bitter herbs bring healing; much like our emotional journeys. AND BOOM bonus dandelion is an alkaline! https://www.instagram.com/reel/CTTGCLiFYDA/
Save the roots for making a coffee substitute -see how here https://www.instagram.com/reel/COjLHgCjNRp/
Dandelion is actually more nutritious than any green we can buy and it is gifted to us for free. In the book Eating on the Wild Side author Jo Robinson says that compared to spinach dandelions have 8 times more antioxidants, 2 times more calcium, 3 times more vitamin A and 5 times more vitamin K & E.
