Evening eKa CIRCLE
Thought I might share something I was prompted to experiment with today in a pathways session. I used the sense of smell to help the client shift back to a memory in childhood to find a repressed emotion that was buried. It appeared to work very well. I am by no means an expert; I am guided by what I hear after inviting the Spirit in to lead.
I simply asked the client to remember a smell from childhood. Then we quickly unpacked the feelings and emotions behind the smell, and who they were attached to. We then tapped into what age those feelings of joy and security left. We unpacked the unforgiveness connected to that memory and identified the timeline and the gate for the suppressed emotion. Through the rest of the session I used that smell and aromatherapy to help her find the root causes.
Recent studies have linked smell to quantum and the vibrational theory. While scientists can disagree over such things there is no question that smell evokes feelings. Then feelings deceive us; they keep us looking back instead of living in the moment.
The nose is indeed a gateway to the temple body. It is why we are so attached to certain smells and certain foods that bring us comfort and feelings of being safe, happy or any other positive emotion. It is also why some smells affect us in the negative- I myself suffered trigger headaches with a certain perfume smell that I now recognise took me subconsciously back to a trauma state as a child. Now that I am consciously aware of it and avoid the smell; I no longer have the headaches.
Smell attaches us to people, memory and experiences. Good and bad. Our favourite smells are obviously attached to feelings that made us feel safe or happy. Negative smells often link to the feeling of being unsafe; depending on our circumstances.
It is not surprising to me that the nose offers such a powerful guide to hidden emotion as it is directly connected proximity wise to the third eye and the throat chakra. What we see (in the mind’s eye) and what we speak is everything!!!
If we consider that we are the gatekeepers of our own temple bodies, it is often necessary to unpack what has been pushed down; even if only for a short moment. Use the time spent to process, forgive, meet the child that wasn’t heard. Give thanks to those that have lead us this far even in the difficult life lessons. Take a deep breath and reboot the conscious mind. These often difficult life lessons are nobody’s fault. What you perceive as your own personal reality is what affects you. It is not for anyone else to judge that journey.
Most perfumes have three notes- you will notice even the choice of word relates to frequency? In the same way that musical notes make up a song and various shades of colour turn into a painting. Fragrance notes are required to make a perfume. Perfumery uses a base note, a middle note and a top note. Skillfully mixed by an expert that understands the evaporation process. I like to equate this to the tuning of the temple body. We all need to ground back to earth in things that make us feel safe and carry us, we need the heart to feed us love- it is the hearth or the centre of the “home.” Then we need the top note our crown to protect our thoughts. Interestingly to me the mind is affected by more doors and gates than any other part of the body. What we watch we are meditating on.
What we smell we remember. What we taste has a huge impact on memories and what we hear programs us in another’s frequency. None of this needs to be conscious in order to take effect. This is the mystery of the subconscious mind.
So often what we see and hear do not fair us so well. This is where you must take your power back and filter what you watch and listen to with some wisdom and boundaries.
Gatekeeper Tips:
- Try a fast from media and anything else that speaks fear.
- Use a diffuser to distribute pure essential oils that bring you joy. They help to assist the electrical rhythms of the brain. Experiment and see what makes you feel peace, calm and relaxed. “The nose knows!”
- Breath deeply and intentionally.
- Slow down when eating; use the senses to really enjoy your food. So often we eat mindlessly without giving thanks and appreciation.
- Speak less so that you can catch yourself when you are not speaking positivity. Make adjustments accordingly.
- Set boundaries to anything/ anyone speaking doubt or negativity over your life.
And so high vibrational smells lift the vibrational frequency of the whole body. That is why the incense recipe was written down by Yah and why Yahushua (Jesus) feet were anointed with incredibly expensive perfume known as spikenard and wiped with Mary’s hair (her glory).
You are the temple. Use smell to rise above emotion and lift your vibrational frequency.
Wishing you well on your healing journey.
love & light
