Evening eKa CIRCLE
What a fun day I had with the girls as we made homemade beauty products. For some time now I have had workshops on my eKa vision board and today it became a reality. How sweet and capable Helena and Daniela are. The girls wanted to learn how to make some natural beauty products as they had tried a few eKa products that I had given them and seemed to really love them. Now they are fully equipped to teach their friends and family how to make some skincare basics. We started with a magnesium bath salts and Daniela chose the scents for that while Helena filled some essential oil rollers and dropper bottles with delicious smells. I’m pretty sure she choose lemon myrtle and patchouli we used fractionated coconut oil as the base oil.
Next Daniela started a coconut honey lip balm and a really easy sugar scrub. While Helena made a lavender face cream. Mum and I supervised; had a glass of wine and some incredible homemade spanakopita by yiayia- how could I say no? Added bonus the girls taught me how to do a few things on my new phone. Got to love the “smart gen”! Lots of cuddles by ginger the dog and I would say that was an afternoon well spent. Hands on education, we played hz music vibes into our products. Talked recycling, organics and all things natural. This gorgeous family gifted back some of the products they made to go back into the eKa stash as well to pay it forward. I have such gratitude for that. Every eKa CIRCLE visitor receives a few homemade gifts to make them feel special.
Below are the recipes for what the girls made today; they chose their own scents to add to the products, mixing in some things from mums pantry with things I brought along. It’s a rather delightful process smelling all of the oils and seeing which ones they immediately respond to. It also means that the product is tailored for what you really love.
I do hope you enjoy the recipes the girls helped create and if you are interested in an eKa CIRCLE workshop please make contact.
