Afternoon eKa CIRCLE
Today I am prompted to discuss a few reasons why it is important to build communities that get things back to the basics. That is making, growing, sharing and selling natural food and products.Β Most people can agree that our modern lifestyles have indeed cost us a price that is way too expensive. That is our health (including our mental health), our environment, our family time and a complete detachment from nature and the Spirit which in turn affects our health. And so the cycle continues.
Everything that is good has been sold to us as quackery. Most things that are harmful to our wellbeing and environment have been packaged with a brightly coloured bow and presented as something that is good for us. We are sold an illusion of vanity.Β It is impossible perfection. A real life fairytale. The illusive dream. The cruel twist is that we become slaves to the same corporates selling us the dream.Β Most complain; yet stay in slavery. We never own much of what we chase as most of the world runs on credit. Hunting and gathering manufactured items has become today’s most popular sport; while chained to the corporate clock- away from family life in order to pay for it all. The dream is actually a nightmare. Things are most definitely inverted.
Is it no wonder the modern world suffers so much depression?
What exactly is the driving force behind the deception? I would safely bet it may well be the $$$. Darkness does indeed come to rob, steal, kill and destroy but only if we allow it to. Darkness cannot create though, it simply turns things upside down. Eyes open to the methods and symbols is what is required to see truth. Indeed we are part of a society where it is difficult to avoid most of these items even when we are consciously attempting change. So what can hasten the results?
*Encourage each other.
*Try to introduce a new habit each week that is intentionally benefiting the collective for health and wellbeing.
*Gratitude for what you have instead of focussing on what you don’t have.
*Put your money where your mouth is which means buying things that support those doing the right thing (often smaller companies that are forced to sell things at a higher price).
*Indulge in some self education as our system is not geared to advise us without bias as it has $$$ to lose in doing that.
Today’s topic to research are petrochemicals and I would like to prompt you to ask and identify exactly how many things you use in your day to day life that include petroleum chemicals and learn what they do to your health and our environment. When you start to research you will find them in a bewildering amount of everyday items that we use and ingest. They are in our medicines (shock horror), food preservatives (that is almost every processed food), agriculture in the form of fertilisers, weed killers and stock feed, dyes, detergents, shampoos, skin products, toothpastes, perfumes and fragrances, cleaning products and washing powders, safety glass, synthetic rubbers, building materials, carpeting, fuels, transportation, packaging, man made fibres in clothing, bedding, shoes and appliances in your home. This list is by no means a complete list. Then it is an interesting exercise to track who owns the companies responsible, how they link and you will quickly see a monopoly of a select few.
Now ask yourself why the “modern” world has toxic byproducts in almost everything we eat, drink, wear and use on a daily basis. We have so much knowledge, is it being used for good? Now you may start to see also why so much money hangs on “blood wars” for this very profitable black gold that runs almost every industry. Now consider the rise of modern day illnesses and the state of our earth and waterways. Ponder the amount of profit made off those same illnesses. Consider also the vibrational effects of extremely toxic residues in all of these items.
The interesting thing to me is the healing detoxification benefits of coal and charcoal and it is in fact the burning of this great healing resource that perpetuates the fuel industry. I shall write more on coal and charcoal in another post soon. Trees and plants in all fashions bring healing to us, they are mother nature’s beautiful gift. Charcoal detoxifies our bodies, filters the water we drink and can even be used to clean and whiten your teeth!
What is the driving force behind the marketability of these petrochemical products? Why would they be in so many of our products that are marketed to us for good health? Have we become so dependent on the desire for these items and the convenience they offer that we are literally killing ourselves by overworking to obtain them? Are we subliminally influenced to do so? Are these products what they claim to be? Are we suffering stockholm syndrome working for the same corporates that poison us?
I ask questions to have us all consider our current state and brainstorm what type of changes (large or small) we can choose in order to make very necessary change. It is going to take a collective mindset for this to happen. It seems logical to me to start withΒ refusing anything that is packaged and sold to us with a huge advertising budget. It is time to unpack ancient knowledge that the modern world has been taught to ignore for sparkly wrapped products that come in pretty packaging with big price-tags. The milk bottle top to the magpie.
It is important to remember that all of us are made from the components of earth, fire, air, water and spirit. It should be no surprise that these same elements bring much needed healing to us. You are basically a plant that requires the same basic elements of nature to survive, exactly like a tree or a house plant. Adding plastics and petrochemicals into the mix will not serve you or the sustainability of the earth well. In fact it is a miracle the resilience most human beings have for survival considering our current environment. Even our current currency is made from plastic which says a LOT. The joke is they just print more as required, it is fools gold indeed.
So how can we make a change? Work less, buy less, recycle more. Grow your own food, make your own beauty products and cleaning items, study ancient ways, use herbal medicines and embrace unprocessed food, wear natural fibres, walk more- drive less, refuse packaging, shop at local markets and support local small businesses that try to do the right thing. Avoid plastics as best you can, I am well aware this is still difficult but something we can all work towards. Build a community to trade and share products, knowledge and resources. Avoid spending with large companies that are not doing the right thing. Let “people power” decide how things operate in the business world. It’s all supply and demand right? Teach others, surrender greed, share what you have. Take things full circle as the sovereign being that you are.
It is a beautiful world; all of us lost touch for a while lulled under the spells of those making HUGE profits. It is indeed all about currency, the currency of your vibratory state lowered causing dis-ease and the currency flow of the money that you spend.
Both are very closely linked.
It is time to awaken.
love & light
