Morning eKa CIRCLE from northern Chile in a place called Arica,
I couldn’t think of a better place to be quarantined during this worldwide covid crisis. We are currently staying in the most gorgeous location at Hotel Apacheta. We have had this trip planned long ago and left home just before the major worldwide lock down. Even though our plans have been disrupted completely and flights all cancelled we have really enjoyed Chile, its culture, food and friendly people. We are just taking this opportunity to slow right down, rest and reset.
While seeking out some lunch in Iquique recently, we stumbled on a man selling beautiful copper handicrafts. So we bought a few things from him as times are tough for many here with no tourists visiting. The health benefits of copper are many; clearly the ancients knew about these things. I bought a beautiful amethyst crystal wrapped in copper wire (just in time for the pink super-moon as I am celebrating passover tonight the 8th of April ) and Yan a copper bracelet often said to help with arthritic pain (he just likes the look of it). I was reading up on the health benefits of copper and I realise many of the ancient cultures used copper intentionally not only for health but for its ability to conduct electrical current. It’s very interesting to me that most ancient buildings that have domes or spires are topped with copper obviously for that reason. Quite possibly to conduct energy from lightning? Today we would not have electrical wiring without copper.
While passing through San Pedro Atacama desert we learned that much of the world’s copper is mined in Chile. I’m reminded of the ancient book of enoch from the dead-sea scrolls taken up by an angel and shown the different mountains on earth; one area listed as the mountain of copper. So fascinating to me, was he shown the Atacama region?
So what are the health benefits of copper for our bodies? The Indian culture drink their cold water from copper vessels, it keeps the water so cold and tastes amazing, the french cook in copper pans, the turkish and the greeks brew their coffee in copper vessels. Are we missing out on some essentials by replacing these items with plastics and teflon? I would say we are.
Copper is an essential nutrient for our bodies. Together with iron it enables the body to form red blood cells. It maintains healthy bones, blood vessels, nerves and immune function. Low copper levels have been linked to high cholesterol and high blood pressure. A depletion of copper links to osteoporosis, alzheimer’s, collagen reduction, arthritis and even grey hair! Not surprising as we light bearers conduct energy and we need the balance of each vitamin and mineral in perfect balance to operate at the highest frequency. May I suggest reintroducing it in the way the ancients did? Naturally? Choose natural vessels and jewellery with intention- there is nothing new under the sun or the pink super moon. Everything is a beautiful cycle.
light & love
