Sharing traditional knowledge is exactly what eKa CIRCLE is about!
Today Mata visited so that we could share and practise some therapeutic touch therapy. In return she has shared the wealth of her mothers Cook Island, Scottish blend knowledge in how to do a relaxing shoulder and facial massage. Mata explained that her mix of bloodlines included 13 different nationalities is something that her mother diligently keeps record of. This massage uses Swiss techniques that were originally used to apply makeup with the fingertips in royal times. I have to say it felt amazing and I fell into a deep sleep straight after. Mata explained that sending love while massaging is key to helping anyone into relaxation or a healing state. That certainly aligns with our eKa CIRCLE principles.
